The Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Development drives AI research and collaboration across Africa. We built a website for its research, events, podcasts, partners and the Continental AI Index.
The brief.
CAISD publishes research, runs events and works with partners across the continent. The site needed to present that work with authority and make it easy to support.

Visitors needed to understand what CAISD does, and who it is for, within seconds of landing, on a phone as much as on a desktop.
[2] Easy to keep up to date
The CAISD team needed to change text, images and pages themselves, without waiting on a developer.
[3] Support and involvement
Visitors needed simple ways to get involved: follow, sign up, attend or support the work.
